Abstract
본 연구는 휴대폰 이용자를 대상으로 한 실증적 조사를 통해 휴대폰 음악서비스의 기대충족에 미치는 요인은 무엇이며, 경제적 관점에서 이용자들이 지불하는 비용대비 충분한 혜택을 주고 있는지를 밝히는 것이 목적이다. 휴대폰 음악서비스에 대한 이용만족도 측정과 휴대폰 이용만족, 휴대폰 부가서비스 이용구조 인지, 휴대폰 음악품질, 휴대폰 음악의 비용가치 및 기대충족 간의 인과관계 모형을 도출한다. 그리고 휴대폰 음악서비스를 포함한 온라인, 오프라인의 6개 음악서비스 유형 간 비용대비 혜택에 대한 경제성을 평가한다. 그 결과 휴대폰 음악서비스의 이용만족도는 평균이상으로 높았고, 가격과 품질이 음악서비스의 기대충족에 미치는 중요한 요인임을 알 수 있었다. 또한 휴대폰을 이용한 음악서비스는 비용대비 충분한 혜택을 주고 있으며, 기존의 오프라인 음악서비스에 비하여 경제성이 높은 것으로 나타났다.
Value added services such as music services play major roles in the mobile phone services nowadays. Mobile phone music services faced conflicts with traditional off-line music service providers as the free-downloadable internet music service was introduced. Also, in the case where mobile phone users are unsatisfied with high rates of mobile phone service charges, it is curious whether mobile phone services provide sufficient benefits relative to their costs. The objective of this study is to identify major factors affecting customer’s satisfaction on mobile phone music service, and whether mobile phone services provide sufficient benefits compared to the charges. To do this, six types of music services including mobile phone music service are defined and comparatively analyzed. First, the status of service usage by type and the level of satisfaction with mobile phone music service are measured. Secondly, the satisfaction level of mobile phone services, the customers’ recognition of value added services, the quality of the mobile phone music, and the structural equation between the value and the satisfaction fulfillment of the mobile phone music service are studied. Lastly, the economic efficiency is determined by cost-and-benefit analysis of different types of music services. As a result, the customer satisfaction level of mobile phone music services is relatively higher than the average and the price and quality are the key factors for fulfilling satisfaction. In general, mobile phone music services give sufficient benefits compared to its costs and are assessed as having a much greater economic efficiency than that of the traditional off-line music media.
