다중 사용자 OFDM 시스템에서의 효율적인 자원 할당 알고리즘

Abstract

최근 고속의 멀티미디어 서비스를 요구하는 추세에 따라 대역폭 효율이 높은 다중 사용자 OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) 시스템에서 자원 할당 방법에 관한 많은 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 모든 사용자가 각각의 최소 데이터 율과 일정한 오류 확률을 요구하는 멀티미디어 환경에서 시스템 성능을 향상시키기 위해서는 제한된 자원을 얼마나 효율적으로 활용할 수 있는지가 중요하다. 기존 방법에 비해서 서비스를 사용하지 못하는 사용자들에게 할당된 부반송파들을 서비스를 사용할 수 있는 사용자들에게 분배함으로써 부반송파를 더욱 효율적으로 사용할 수 있다. 제안된 자원 할당 방법은 기존의 방법에 비해 실제 사용자가 시스템을 이용할 수 있을 지 없을지 판단하기 위한 임시 저장 공간이 약간 증가하나 결과적으로 부반송파를 효율적으로 사용하여 더 많은 사용자가 시스템을 이용할 수 있다.

Lately, a lot of researches have been done on the resource allocation for multiuser OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) systems due to its spectral efficiency for high-rate multimedia data services. For multimedia services in which every user is guaranteed to have minimum required bit rate and bit error probability, it is critical to utilize the limited resources efficiently to improve the performance of the system. The introduced allocation method improves spectral efficiency to use the left subcarriers in Zhang's algorithm. By using this method, the system can provide services to more users constantly, except for a bit increasing complexity and memory for deciding the left subcarriers and reallocating the subcarriers.
