Abstract
We have isolated spherical-shaped monodispersed 12-14 mn range gold nanoparticles, when o-1,6-atienylbenzaldehyde underwent a novel mode of tandem cycloaddition and cyclization using AuCl3 precatalyst. This cyclization can be found in the construction of many polycycllc natural product skeletons.
