- Abstract
- This paper elucidates 6G integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) by introducing 6G terahertz (THz) and analyzing 6G ISAC from the standpoint of current state-of-the-art technology and future orientation. ISAC, which utilizes the same hardware and frequency band, is a powerful technique for future wireless systems. ISAC enables sensing and communication to function more effectively together. The 6G ISAC technology leverages sensing to enhance communication performance and vice versa. We provide the most recent findings of vision-aided communication, cooperative localization, and radio simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) among 6G ISAC technologies. Finally, the limits of ISAC technology are outlined, along with the future research areas.
