공간모형의 활용을 통한 도시 특성과 도시 범죄 위험도 간의 영향관계 분석 : 서울시 전체범죄 및 성폭력을 중심으로

Abstract

범죄가 발생하는 도시의 공간적 특성을 파악하는 것은범죄를 예방하는 데 도움이 되며, 효과적인 방범 방안을 제시할수 있고, 이를 통해 안전한 도시를 조성하는 데 기여할 수 있다(김선재 외, 2022). 본 연구에서는 이러한 필요성을 바탕으로 전체범죄 및 성폭력 위험도에 영향을 미치는 도시환경 특성을 파악하고자 한다. 기존의 범죄 발생과 관련된 연구들은 대부분 전역적(Global) 모형을 사용한 관계로, 개별 도시의 환경에 따른 방범방안을 파악하는 데 미흡한 측면이 있었다(장현석 외, 2021). 도시의 안전성 확보를 위한 방안은 환경과 기능에 따라 다르기 때문에, 각 도시 환경에 맞는 적합한 방범방안이 필요하다. 이러한 맥락에서본 연구는 행정안전부의 생활안전지도 자료를 토대로 서울시 범죄 위험도의 공간적 분포를 파악하고자 한다. 또한 전역적·국지적 공간모형을 활용하여 범죄 위험도에 영향을 미치는 도시 특성을 파악하여 도시환경 특성에 적합한 방범방안의 적용을 위한 정책적 시사점을 제시하고자 한다.

Since measures required to secure safety differ according to a city’s environment and functions, it is necessary to develop crime prevention plans suitable for the characteristics of each urban environment. Accordingly, based on security rating data between 2018 and 2021 provided by the Ministry of Public Administration and Security's Life Safety Map, the spatial pattern of crime risk was identified, and factors affecting crime risk were derived. In this study, the 424 administrative dongs of Seoul were set as a spatial range, and the temporal range of independent variables was set as 2020. In the analysis, the degree of crime risk was visualized for each autonomous district of Seoul, and spatial autocorrelation was identified through Moran's I. Finally, influencing factors were derived using the spatial regression model, and regional influence relations were locally confirmed through the geographic multiple regression model. The analysis results confirmed that the number of entertainment facilities, security facilities, single-person households, and redevelopment and reconstruction factors affected the risk of crime. The analysis results are expected to provide policy implications for crime prevention measures in cities.
