취업모의 다차원적 완벽주의와 무기력 성향이 양육스트레스에 미치는 영향: 감정기복의 매개효과

Abstract

목적 본 연구는 영유아 자녀를 둔 취업모의 다차원적 완벽주의와 무기력 성향이 양육스트레스에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고, 감정기복의 매개효과를 검증하는데 목적을 두었다. 방법 2021년도 9월 영유아 자녀를 둔 취업모 312명을 대상으로 다차원적 완벽주의 척도, 무기력 척도, 양육스트레스 척도, 감정기복 척도를 활용하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 상관분석, 회기분석, Baron & Kenny의 3단계 매개효과 분석과 부트스트래핑(Bootstrapping)을 통해 결과를 도출하였다. 결과 첫째, 취업모의 다차원적 완벽주의는 양육스트레스와 유의한 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났고 다차원적 완벽주의의 하위요인 중사회부과 완벽주의만이 양육스트레스와 유의한 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 취업모의 무기력은 양육스트레스와 유의한 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 다차원적 완벽주의의 하위요인인 사회부과 완벽주의가 양육스트레스에 미치는 영향에서 감정기복은 완전매개를 하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 취업모의 무기력이 양육스트레스에 미치는 영향에서 감정기복은 부분매개를 하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 이상의 결과를 종합하면 상담과 임상 상면에서 양육스트레스를 호소하는 어머니의 성격 특성과 정서 상황에 맞게 상담적 개입과 부모 양육 교육이 이루어져야 함을 알 수 있다.

Objectives The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of multidimensional perfectionism and lethargy tendency on parenting stress in working mothers with infants and toddlers, and to verify the mediating effect of emotional change. Methods In September 2021, 312 working mothers with infants and young children were surveyed using the multidimensional perfectionism scale, helplessness scale, parenting stress scale, and emotional relief scale. Results were derived from the collected data through correlation analysis, regression analysis, Baron & Kenny's 3-step mediating effect analysis, and bootstrapping. Results First, working mothers' multidimensional perfectionism was found to be significantly correlated with parenting stress, and among the sub-factors of multidimensional perfectionism, only socially imposed perfectionism was found to be significantly correlated with parenting stress. Second, helplessness of working mothers was found to be significantly correlated with parenting stress. Third, in the effect of social imposition perfectionism, a sub-factor of multidimensional perfectionism, on parenting stress, emotional hunger was found to be completely mediated. Fourth, in the effect of helplessness of working mothers on parenting stress, emotional ups and downs were found to have a partial mediation. Conclusions From the above results, it can be seen that counseling intervention and parenting education should be conducted according to the personality characteristics and emotional situation of mothers who complain of parenting stress in counseling and clinical aspects.
