- Abstract
- Purpose This study examines the moderating effect of age on the effects of transformational and transactional leadership on organizational commitment.
Methods We analyzed data collected from 272 employees at large domestic companies.
Results Transformational leadership and transactional leadership had a positive effect on organizational commitment. In addition, age was to moderate the relationship between leadership (transformational and transactional leadership) and continuance commitment.
Conclusion This study tested the moderating effect of age and identified specific age for which the moderating effect was significant.
