- Abstract
- In this paper, we proposed a method to design MPEG Video-based point cloud compression (V-PCC) based on JPEG. We chose JPEG for its simplicity, low computational complexity, and ubiquitous support of encoder and decoder. For performance evaluation, we compared the proposed method with the HEVC-based VPCC reference software. © 2019 ITE and SID
