- Abstract
- For UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) applications, a proposed miniaturized segmented loop antenna is comprised of a segmented loop, stubs, and a shorting strip. By reducing the number of segments and adding stubs, the compact segmented loop antenna is realized. Addition of the shorting strip improve the impedance matching. The antenna has omnidirectional radiation at 956 MHz.
