- Abstract
- A lightweight exponentially tapered cavity-backed mono-cone antenna made by 3-D printing and conductive paint coating is proposed. To make the 3-D printed structure be metalized, three layers of conductive paint are used. To verify the proposed fabrication method, the 3-D printed antenna was fabricated and its return loss and far-field radiation characteristics were analyzed.
