산조가야금 초견을 위한 리듬형 활용 방안

Abstract

본 연구에서는 현재 많이 연주되고 있는 김병호류·김죽파류·성금연류·최옥삼류 네 개 가야금 유파 중 중모리, 중중모리, 자진모리에서 쓰이는 주요 리듬형 패턴을 추출하여 산조가 야금 초견에 전통음악의 근간을 가진 리듬형 활용 방안을 제시 하였다. 각 산조의 리듬형은 소박의 결합을 기준으로 추출하여 분류하였으며, 유형분류에 있어 이음줄을 사용하는 리듬형 이 전통음악의 시김새를 표현하는 중요 요소로 여겨져 이 또한 소박의 결합 단위로 추출하였 다. 추출한리듬형은장단별패턴연습,혼합리듬형연습,구조연습,장단과합주를통한 한 호흡 연습으로 나누어 연습 방법을 고안하였다. 이는 초견에 필요한 요소 중 패턴인지와 유창성 발전에 초점을 맞춘 것이며 제시한 악보 외에도 다양한 음을 대입하여 여러 가지 연습 곡으로 적용할 수 있다. 이러한 활동을 통하여 전통적인 장단을 활용한 악곡에서 단순히 악보 를 읽는 것에 그치지 않고 장단의 특징을 살려 연주할 수 있도록 하는 것이 본고의 목적이다.

The present study extracted the major rhythm patterns used in the jungmori, jungjungmori, and jajinmori from the four commonly performed gayageum schools, namely, the Kim Byeong-ho school, the Kim Jook-pa school, the Seong Geum-yeon school, and the Choi Ok-sam school, and thus offered a learning plan for sight reading with a foundation in traditional music. The study tried to extract and examine rhythm patterns on the basis of one beat. Furthermore, upon analyzing each sanjo, slur rhythm patterns were extracted by beat because rhythm patterns expressed with slurs are considered as an important element expressing the sigimsae of traditional music. The present study devised methods by type for practicing patterns and structures per jangdan as well as for practicing breathing through jangdan and ensembles. Although the study offers actual sheet music examples for applying these methods, the sheet music offered is simply an example, and the methods can be applied to several different études by substituting various notes. The goal of such activities is not to stop at the level of reading music but rather to perform by highlighting the characteristics of jangdan in pieces of music that use traditional jangdan.
