Abstract

Cluster headache is a primary headache disorder, but numerous diseases have been reported to present with a secondary cluster-like headache. Secondary causes of cluster-like headache should be carefully scrutinized, since the accurate treatment can improve symptoms. Nasal septal abscess, a rare infectious disease in adults, has yet not been reported to be a cause of secondary cluster-like headache. Here in, we report a rare case of a 69-year-old man who showed cluster-like headache, but was finally revealed to have nasal septal abscess responsible for the headache.
