외국인 유학생 내담자의 자살을 겪은 유학생 상담자의 경험에 대한 질적연구: 대학상담센터를 중심으로

| dc.description.abstract | 목적 본 연구는 외국인 유학생 내담자의 자살을 겪은 유학생 상담자들의 경험을 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 수행되었다. 방법 이를 위하여 총 9명의 대학상담센터 유학생 상담자를 대상으로 심층 인터뷰를 실시하였으며, 합의적 질적연구방법(CQR)에따라 분석하였다. 연구 참여자는 유의적 표집 방식과 눈덩이 표집 방식을 통하여 선발되었다. 결과 연구 결과 총 7개 영역, 14개 범주, 57개 하위범주가 도출되었다. 이 중 7개의 영역은 ‘유학생 내담자의 자살관련 경험 특성’, ‘유학생 내담자의 자살경험에 영향 미치는 요인’, ‘상담에서 경험한 정서’, ‘상담에서 경험한 어려움’, ‘상담에서 도움이 된 점’, ‘상담이후의 경험’, ‘유학생 위기상담에 대한 기대’였다. 유학생 상담자들은 자살 위기 상황에서 유학생 내담자들의 중요한 보호요인이 되고 있었으나, 대학 차원에서 유학생 상담자를 지지해주는 시스템은 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 결론 본 연구는 유학생 상담에서의 자살 위기 개입 특성을 확인함으로써 아직 초기 단계인 국내 유학생 상담자 관련 연구의 영역을확장한다는 함의가 있으며, 유학생 상담자의 발달을 돕는 교육 과정 개발 및 보호 체계를 위한 토대 마련에 활용될 가치가 있다. | - |
