상담자 역량 연구의 동향

Abstract

본 연구는 상담 및 심리 치료 분야에서 이루어진 상담자 역량 연구에 대한 동향 분석을 분석하여, 상담자 역량 연구의특성을 살펴보고자 하는 목적에서 수행되었다. 이를 위해 학술지 논문을 중심으로 최종 79편의 논문을 분석준거에 따라평정하였다. 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 2008년 진로 상담 분야에서 역량에 대한 연구가 시작된 이후로 2020년에는 역량연구의 분야가 확대되었으며, 13편의 연구가 이루어졌다. 둘째, 역량 연구의 목적을 살펴보면, 역량모형개발 연구가 가장 많았으며, 경험탐색 및 역량 인식에 대한 연구, 역량척도개발연구 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 상담자 역량 연구에 주로사용되는 연구 방법은 양적 연구, 혼합 연구, 질적 연구 방법 순으로 나타났으며, 개별 연구 방법 중에서는 델파이 방법이 가장 많은 빈도로 활용된 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 연구 분야에 따른 연구 목적으로 살펴보면, 진로상담과 다문화상담분야의 경우 다양한 연구 목적으로 연구가 수행된 반면, 그 외 분야에서는 두 분야만큼 역량에 대한 연구의 목적이다양하게 이루어지지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 상담자 역량 연구가 앞으로 나아갈 방향을 모색하는데도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.

This study aims to analyze research trends regarding competence among counselors. For this purpose, the latest 79 papers on this topic, with the focus being journal papers, were evaluated according to the analysis criteria. The results were as follows: First, since studies on competence in the field of career counseling began in 2008 and the field of competence research was expanded in 2020, 13 studies have been conducted. Second, regarding the purpose of competence research, competence model development was the most common, followed by experience exploration and competence recognition, and finally, competence scale development. Third, the research methods mainly used in counselor competence research were in the order of quantitative research, mixed research, and qualitative research methods, and among individual research methods, the Delphi method was used most frequently. Fourth, regarding research purpose according to the research field, in the case of career and multicultural counseling, research was conducted for various purposes, whereas in other fields, the purpose of research on competence was not as diverse as that in the aforementioned two fields. The results of this study are expected to help in finding a way forward for counselor competence research.
