Abstract
Although the number of patients with mental illness is rapidly increasing in modern society, the current status of treatment does not reflect this increasing trend. This is a result of reflecting people"s psychological discomfort toward the existing mental health facilities, suggesting the need for a space that can provide mental health services with a new paradigm. The purpose of this study, based on these problematic situations, is to derive a spatial program for mental health facilities that can be approached as an extension of daily life to modern people. In addition, the program usage flow is presented for each user type so that the derived program can have appropriate usability. In this process, this study is meaningful in that more professional healing programs and space programs where the characteristics of travel coexist were derived by combining healing environments and travel characteristics with mental health facilities. In addition, by deriving user types based on approaches to achieve resilience, the use of space itself suggests a method that can have a close connection with the healing process of users.
