- Abstract
- This study is a fundamental research aimed at proposing a virtual exhibition for the preservation and utilization of local historical and cultural assets. Based on analysis of 51 museums and case studies, 5 analysis items were established with a focus on VR technology. Results showed good implementation of immersiveness and operability, but lacked emotional immersion features. Additional features are needed to improve emotional immersion in virtual exhibition spaces. This conclusion has significant implications for demonstrating the value of local historical and cultural assets and guiding the development of virtual exhibitions.
