dc.description.abstractAs exhaust gas regulations are tightened around the world, interest and research in the automobile industry are targeting ecofriendly vehicles in internal combustion engines. Among them, the connected hybrid electric vehicle can obtain forward road information through V2I/V2X communication, so it can be expected to improve fuel efficiency compared to the existing hybrid electric vehicle. Because the purpose of this paper is to optimize fuel efficiency for connected hybrid electric vehicles, a simulation environment was implemented through actual city road measurements. In addition, the speed profile to be used in the optimization was created by linking the implemented road with HILS and the driving wheel. The fuel economy optimization of connected hybrid electric vehicles uses dynamic programming. It was found through simulations of three test cases that the optimization result can be different depending on the weight adjustment of the cost function when dynamic programming is used. In addition, the validity of the method to prevent engine on/off change without weight adjustment was verified through simulation.-
