Abstract
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety of lap-spliced length calculated through the current design codes or guidelines for concrete structures. In order to find the conditions and details for exhibiting stable flexural behavior in the actual situation, a bending test of a lap-spliced beam was performed. The main variable was planned as the volume fraction of fibers and splice length, and it was confirmed that the inclusion of fibers resulted in an increase in the flecxural performance of member as the cracking strength was enhanced. And specimens with longer splice length have shown higher flexural strength, either.
