청년 1인 가구의 주거 실태 및 생활에 관한 연구

Abstract

Young persons usually enjoy daily life alone, and neighborhood relations in their residential environment are often somewhat awkward. This study investigates one-person households in their 20s and 30s with a focus on their living conditions and daily lives. The aim of this study is to propose the direction of smart community that can improve the quality of life for single-person households. The results shows that most of young single-person households did not interact with their neighbors at all in their living environment, but they had more social activities such as meeting friends. Young single-person households are basically solitary living alone, but they are facing a new normal where social distance is emphasized due to Covid-19 pandemic. A smart community that young people in single-person households can interact with neighbors and makes friends while not being contact could be one of potential for overcoming it.
