Abstract
본 연구에서는 중등학교 교육과정에서 대중음악과 색채 이미지 통합교육을 설계하고 학습자의 수업 흥미도(Interest)와 공감각적(Synesthetic) 변화를 객관적으로 측정함으로써, 중학교 통합교육의 이론적, 실천적 지침을 제시하여 실제 수업에 활용하고자 한다. 정량적 연구를 위해 중학생 50명을 t-검증을 실시하였고, 정성적 연구로는 개인적으로 느낀 감정과 생각들을 표현한 학습소감문과 연구자에 대하여 심층적으로 파악이 가능한 면담을 사용하였다. 연구 결과, 통합교육지도안이 학생들의 수업 흥미도와 공감각적 표현능력을 증가시키는 데 효과적임을 알 수 있었고, 한국의 대중음악을 활용한 통합교육의 실용적 모델을 다양한 관점에서 도출하고 수업 개선을 위한 자료 및 후속 논의를 위한 방안을 제시했다는 데 가치가 있다.
This study aims to design an integrated curriculum combining popular music and color imagery in secondary school education and to objectively measure students' interest in the class and their synesthetic changes. The goal is to provide theoretical and practical guidelines for middle school integrated education and apply these in actual teaching. For the quantitative research, a t-test was conducted with 50 middle school students, while qualitative research involved analyzing students' personal reflections and in-depth interviews with the researcher to gain a deeper understanding. The results indicate that the integrated curriculum plan is effective in increasing students' interest in the class and their synesthetic expression abilities. The study is valuable in that it derives practical models of integrated education using Korean popular music from various perspectives and provides materials for class improvement and suggestions for further discussion.
