클래식 음악을 활용한 음악 감상활동이 유아의 음악적성에 미치는 효과

Abstract

목적- 본 연구는 클래식 음악을 활용한 음악 감상활동이 유아의 음악적성에 미치는 효과를 알아보는 것이다. 방법- G시에 소재한 D유치원에 재원 중인 만 5세 유아 56명을 연구대상으로 선정하여 클래식 음악을 활용한 음악 감상활동이 만5세 유아의 음악적성에 미치는 효과를 비교⋅분석하기 위해 사전검사와 사후검사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 통계프로그램SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였고 독립표본 t검증을 실시하였고, 사후효과의 크기를 알아보기 위해 Hedge’s g를 산출하여 분석하였다. 결과- 클래식 음악을 활용한 음악 감상활동은 만 5세 유아의 음악적성 전체 및 하위요소 중 가락과 리듬에 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 클래식 음악을 활용한 음악 감상활동이 만 5세 유아의 음악적성에 긍정적 효과가 있음을의미한다. 결론- 본 연구의 결과는 유아교육현장에서 유아의 음악적성을 증진 시키고자 하는 교수-학습방법을 모색하는데 클래식 음악을 활용한 음악 감상활동이 적극적으로 활용될 수 있음을 시사한다.

Objectives- The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of music appreciation based on classical music activities on musical aptitude of young children. Methods- The subjects of this study were 56 who were 5-years-old children enrolled in D kindergarten located G city. To compare the effects of experimental treatments on young children’s musical aptitude scores of pre-test and post-test were analyzed by independent t-test applying SPSS 22.0 program. Hedges'g values were calculated examine the effect size of music appreciation based on classical music activities on musical aptitude of young children. Results- As a result of analyzing music appreciation based on classical music activities on musical aptitude of young children, the experimental group showed greater changes than the control group in term of average musical aptitude(tune, rhythm). Conclusions- The result of this study is expected to be a future guidelines to develop teaching-learning method to enhance children’s musical aptitude.
