Abstract
본 연구는 대학생의 학업적·사회적 성취목표지향성, 기본심리욕구, 학업참여 간의 구조적 관계를 파악하고자 하였다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 서울 및 경기도 소재의 대학생 239명을 대상으로 학업적·사회적 성취목표지향성, 기본심리욕구, 학업참여에 대한 자료를 수집하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 학업적 숙달목표, 학업적 수행접근목표, 사회적 숙달목표가 기본심리욕구에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다. 둘째, 기본심리욕구가 학업참여에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다. 셋째, 학업적·사회적 성취목표와 학업참여 간의 관계에서 기본심리욕구가 유의미한 매개효과가 있음을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 학업적·사회적 맥락의 동기 변인을 모두 고려하여 학업에 미치는 구조적 관계를 파악하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 또한 대학생들의 높은 학업참여를 위해 기본심리욕구를 충족시켜주는 학습환경을 조성해야하는 필요성을 시사하였다.
This study sought to understand the structural relationship between college students' academic and social achievement goal orientation, basic psychological needs, and academic participation. In order to achieve the research purpose, data on academic and social achievement goal orientation, basic psychological needs, and academic participation were collected from 239 college students in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. As a result, first, it was confirmed that academic mastery goals, academic performance approach goals, and social mastery goals had a significant impact on basic psychological needs. Second, it was confirmed that basic psychological needs had a significant effect on academic participation. Third, it was confirmed that basic psychological needs had a significant mediating effect on the relationship between academic and social achievement goals and academic participation. This study is meaningful in that it identified the structural relationship on academic studies by considering both motivational variables in the academic and social context. It also suggested the need to create a learning environment that satisfies basic psychological needs for high academic participation of college students.
