- Abstract
- We propose an inverse design approach for lithium niobate (LiNbO) integrated photonics element. Free-formed LiNbO mode converters are optimized with fabrication constraints of thick nonlinear photonic. With the proposed devices, we experimentally demonstrate second-order nonlinear effects.
