후기 청소년 자녀가 지각한 어머니의 심리적 통제와 자녀의 심리적 독립의 관계: 지각된 부모의 부부관계로 조절된 자아탄력성의 매개효과

Abstract

본 연구에서는 어머니의 심리적 통제와 후기 청소년 자녀의 심리적 독립의 관계에서 부모의 부부관계로 조절된 자녀의 자아탄력성의 매개효과를 가정하고 이를 확인해보고자 하였다. 연구 자료로는 만 18세에서 만 25세까지의 후기 청소년 자녀 367명을 대상으로 설문조사를 진행한 결과가 수집되었고, 최종적으로 361명의 자료를 SPSS 27.0 및 SPSS Process Macro를 사용하여 분석하였다. 주요한 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어머니의 심리적 통제가 높을수록 자녀의 심리적 독립 수준이 낮은 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 자녀의 자아탄력성은 어머니의 심리적 통제와 자녀의 심리적 독립을 부분 매개하는 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 어머니의 심리적 통제와 자녀의 자아탄력성의 관계에서 지각된 부모의 부부관계 수준의 조절효과는 유의하였다. 마지막으로, 어머니의 심리적 통제가 자녀의 자아탄력성을 거쳐 자녀의 심리적 독립에 미치는 간접효과가 지각된 부모의 부부관계 수준에 따라 변화되는 조절된 매개효과가 확인되었다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 청소년 및 부모 상담에서의 시사점을 제시하였으며, 연구의 제한점을 토대로 후속연구의 방향을 제언하였다.

This study aimed to examine the hypothesized mediating effects of ego-resiliency moderated by marital intimacy on the relationship between maternal psychological control and psychological independence among young adult children. For the research, a questionnaire survey was conducted with 367 young adults aged between 18 and 25, and the data from only 361 participants were used for analysis. The data were analyzed using SPSS 27.0 and SPSS Process Macro. Key findings are as follows: First, it was confirmed that the higher maternal psychological control was associated with lower levels of psychological independence in children. Second, the ego-resiliency of children partially mediated the relationship between maternal psychological control and psychological independence in children. Third, the moderating effects of the perceived parents' marital intimacy on the relationship between maternal psychological control and children's ego-resiliency were observed. Lastly, the moderated mediation effects were observed, indicating that the indirect effects of maternal psychological control on children's psychological independence through children's ego-resiliency varied depending on the perceived level of parents' marital intimacy. Based on the findings, we suggested implications and discussions for future research.
