Abstract
A Web-based CAD viewer (WebCMM) with draft examination function for design and manufacture of injection molds is studied. In the distributed environment, this system transforms CAD data into lightweight files through ACIS kernels and InterOp on the translation server. The draft examination function has been constructed through ActiveX using visual C++ and OpenGL.
