고령자를 위한 공간 내 감성시스템 창호 디자인 계획

Abstract

사회문화적으로 디지털시대의 소비문화가 생성되고, 개인 중심적이고 다양한 욕구가 증가하고 있는 새로운 사고와 행동습성을 가진 소비자들이 등장하고 있다. 이러한 변화는 ‘감성’이란 강력한 문화코드를 가지고 왔다. 물리적으로 구축된 공간에서 행해지던 만남과 행위들이 디지털의 발전에 따라 가상 세계에서도 가능해졌다. 이것은 물리적, 정신적으로 보이지 않게 존재하던 경계의 상실을 뜻하기도 한다. 한국의 베이비 붐 세대가 점차 고령화됨에 따라 강력한 소비 집단인 이들의 감성을 충족시키기 위해 한국의 전통 창호의 개념을 이용한 감성 시스템 창호를 제안하였다. 이를 위해 우선 고령자의 특징을 생리적, 심리적, 사회적 측면으로 분류하고 이를 국내외 사례를 통해 각각 상, 중, 하로 한국 고령자들로의 적용 가능성을 분석하였다. 분석된 자료는 다시 감성 키워드 세 가지(커뮤니케이션, 향수, 기억력)로 분류하여 각각을 통해 고령자가 소외와 단절, 그리고 무기력함에서 벗어나 활동적인 생활을 할 수 있도록 디자인적 방법으로 제안하였다. 한국 전통 창틀의 디자인을 기본 바탕으로 창호와 고령자의 특성을 접목시켜 창호에 LCD Touch Screen을 빌트인하고 한국창호중 이중창의 특징을 살려 수납공간을 만들고 IT와 접목시켜 건망증이 잦은 고령자들의 문제를 해결하고자 하였다. 이러한 노력을 통해 주거 내 활동 시간이 많은 고령자들의 커뮤니케이션 문제를 해소하고 사회와의 단절을 감성적으로 해결하고자 하였다.

Through culture, the age of digital sales is becoming further developed, and more than more people who have new ideas and actions with private, selfish and diverse desire are appearing. These kinds of changes have brought about a powerful cultural code called sensitivity. The meetings and actions that could only be conducted from physically constructed places now exist in the imagined world due to digital development. This could lead to a loss in the boundary of physical and mental aspects. As Korea’s baby boomer generation is becoming seniors, who are the most powerful buyers, in order to maintain their sensitivity, we propose a system that uses the sensitivity based on the concept of Korea’s traditional windows. For that, we classified elders’ character as physiological, mental, and social. After that we analyze applicability through case studies into good, fair, and poor. We divide elders into three sensitivity key words (Communication, Nostalgia, and Memories), and then from each word, we propose a solution for their isolation and powerlessness into something that can make them more active. In order to solve the elders’ problem of absent-mindedness, we are building an LCD touch screen based on the Korean traditional window design as a basic background by adding the elders characteristics, and from using Korea's two window’s characteristics, we made a storage closet and added the IT technology. Also, we are trying to resolve the elders’ being isolated from society by using sensitivity ways to aid them in communication.
