- Abstract
- New Ways of Working (NWW) offices getting more popular because it increases users’ satisfaction and productivity. However, incautiously planned NWW offices give adverse effects on users’ satisfaction and productivity because it cannot meet users’ spatial needs. Accordingly, to make successful NWW office, analysis of space usage patterns is required and users’ space usage data are fundamental information for this. However, NWW office users’ space usage data are difficult to be estimated because of their flexible working style. Therefore, adequate method should be selected in consideration of NWW office’s characteristics. Through the comprehensive review, we found among the various methods, BLE beacon is adequate to be used to estimate NWW office users’ space usage data. However, in the aspect of estimation accuracy and application, it requires further studies.
