시각장애 연구의 방향성 제시를 위한 관련 학술지 게재 논문 동향 분석 (2020년~2024년‘시각장애연구’발행호를 중심으로)

Abstract

연구 목적: 본 연구는 ‘시각장애연구’ 학술지에 게재된 논문의 연구 동향을 분석하여 시각장애와 관련된 연구의 방향성을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구 방법: 이를 위해 최근 5년(2020년～2024년)의 ‘시각장애연구’ 학술지에 게재된 논문 115편을 분석하였다. 연구 결과: 제1 저자 신분은 교수(연구원)가 가장 많았고, 연구 대상은 시각장애 성인을 대상으로 한 연구가 가장 많았다. 연구 주제로는 심리, 건강 복지 재활 연구 다수를 차지하였으며, 연구 방법은 문헌 연구가 가장 많았다. 연구비 지원은 교수(연구자) 지원, 문헌조사 및 프로그램 연구와 시각장애 성인 연구 지원, 복지 분야가 연구비 지원이 많은 것으로 분석되었다. 결론: 연구 결과에 대한 시사점으로 대규모 연구자 연구와 장기적 연구, 영유아 시각장애 연구의 필요성, 학령기 교과교육 연구 주제의 필요성, 대규모 연구 방법, 국가 및 대기업을 포함한 사기업의 연구비 지원의 필요성을 시사한다.

Purpose: This study aims to analyze research trends in the Journal of Visual Impairment Research to suggest future directions for studies related to visual impairment. Method: A total of 115 articles published over the past five years (2020–2024) in the Journal of Visual Impairment Research were analyzed. Results: Most first authors were university professors or researchers. The predominant research subjects were adults with visual impairments, and the most frequently studied topics were in the areas of psychology, health, welfare, and rehabilitation. Literature reviews were the most commonly used research method. Research funding was mostly provided to professors or researchers, and was concentrated on literature reviews, program development studies, research targeting adults with visual impairments, and studies in the field of welfare. Conclusion: The findings suggest the need for large-scale and long-term research projects, increased focus on infants and toddlers with visual impairments, more research on curriculum and subject education during school age, the adoption of large-scale research methodologies, and the expansion of research funding from both the government and the private sector, including large corporations.
