睨觀 申圭植의 汕廬 시 고찰

Abstract

이 글은 睨觀 申圭植(1880～1922)의 시집 兒目淚 에 수록된 ｢愛吾汕廬｣ 시 7제 11수를 대상으로 그 편집 경위와 제목의 의미를 분석하고, 시적 특징을 검토하며, 이를 통해 문학사와 독립운동사에서의 의의를 조명하는 것을 목표로 한다. 신규식은 1911년 중국으로 망명 후 상해에서 독립운동에 헌신하며 자신과 동지들이 머무는 거처를 ‘汕廬’로 명명하였다. 이 집은 단순한 거주지가 아닌, 민족적 이상과 독립의지를 담은 상징적 공간으로서 기능했다. ｢애오산려｣의 시들은 상해 독립운동의 단면을 생생하게 드러내며, 신규식의 절박한 심정과 신념을 문학적으로 형상화하고 있다. 시의 구성과 이미지에는 당시의 역사적 현실과 민족적 이상이 집약되어 있다. 여기에서는 해당 시들의 문학적·역사적 가치를 조명함으로써 신규식의 문학과 사상에 대해 보다 깊은 이해를 도모한다. 또한, 한중 혁명지사들 간의 정신적 연대에 대해 앞으로의 연구에서 심화 고찰할 필요성을 제기한다.

This study examines Shin Gyu-sik(申圭植)'s poem Aeosanlyeo(愛吾汕廬)(7 sets, 11 poems), which is included in his poetry collection Amokru(兒目淚), focusing on its editorial background and the meaning of the title. Also, This study explores the poetic characteristics of this work and sheds light on its significance in Korean literature and independence history. After going into exile in China in 1911, Shin Gyu-sik dedicated himself to the independence movement in Shanghai, naming his comrades’ residence Sanlyeo(汕廬). This residence functioned as more than a mere dwelling—it served as a symbolic space embodying national ideals and the will for independence. The poems in Aeosanlyeo vividly depict the facets of writer’s independence movement in Shanghai, and literarily embody his urgent sentiments and convictions. The structure and images of the poems encapsulate the historical realities and national aspirations of that time. This study highlights the literary and historical value of these works, aiming to deepen understanding of Shin Gyu-sik's literature and philosophy. Additionally, it emphasizes the need for further research on the spiritual solidarity among Korean and Chinese revolutionaries.
