PageRank 알고리즘을 활용한 세계치어리딩선수권대회 랭킹 트렌드 분석

Abstract

본 연구에서는 PageRank 알고리즘을 활용하여 국가들의 세계치어리딩선수권대회 랭킹을 산출하였다. 이를 토대로 2025년 세계치어리딩선수권대회와 월드게임 준비를 하는 팀들에게 우승 가능성이 높은 팀들을 예측하여 코치나 분석가에게 대응 전략을 마련할 자료를제공하는데 연구의 필요성 및 목적을 두고 있다. 본 연구는 세계치어리딩연맹 공식 홈페이지(https://cheerunion.org//)에서 제공하는 자료를 수집하였다. 자료처리는 MS-Excel, PyCharm 프로그램을 활용하여 얻은 결과를 토대로 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, PageRank 알고리즘을 적용하여 심판의 채점에 의한 종목의 랭킹 산정이 가능하다. 둘째, PageRank 알고리즘을 적용한 랭킹 트렌드를살표보면, 다음 대회에서 1-6위는 USA, Japan, Finland, China, Mexico와 Slovenia인 가능성이 크다.

In this study, countries' rankings of the World Cheerleading Championships were calculated using the PageRank algorithm. Based on this, the necessity and purpose of the study is to provide data to coaches or analysts to prepare response strategies by predicting teams with a high probability of winning the 2025 World Cheerleading Championships and World Games to teams preparing for them. This study collected data provided by the official website of the World Cheerleading Federation (https://cheerunion.org/ /). Data processing was concluded as follows based on the results obtained using MS-Excel and PyCharm programs. First, it is possible to calculate the ranking of the event by scoring the referee by applying the PageRank algorithm. Second, looking at the ranking trend applying the PageRank algorithm, there is a high possibility that USA, Japan, Finland, China, Mexico and Slovenia will be ranked 1st to 6th in the next competition.
