N잡러가 경험한 심리적 소진 회복에 관한 근거이론적 접근

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 다중직업을 보유하고 있는 ‘N잡러’가 경험한 심리적 소진 현상과 회복 경험을 이해하고 회복에 영향을 주는 요인을 파악하는 것이다. 이를 위해 심리적 소진을 경험한 N잡러 4명을 대상으로 심층 면접하여 자료를 수집하였다. 면담 자료를 기반으로 N잡러의 심리적 소진과 회복에 대하여 총 81개의 핵심 개념, 21개의 하위범주, 7개의 중위범주, 3개의 상위범주가 나타나 N잡러의 소진과 회복과정을 반영하는 이론적 모형이 도출되었다. 본 연구 결과에서 N잡러는 자신의 다양한 삶의 영역(각 직업, 가정 등)과의 관계를 재설정하면서 회복을 느끼는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 N잡러가 경험한 심리적 소진과 회복과정에 관해 근거이론적 접근을 통한 연구를 수행했다는 점에서 의의가 있으며, 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 이들의 심리적 소진과 회복을 돕기 위한 활동, 프로그램 등을 제안하였다.

The purpose of this study is to understand the phenomenon of psychological burnout and recovery experienced by 'Multiple Job Holders(MJHers)' and to identify factors that influence recovery. The data were collected by conducting in-depth interviews with four MJHers who experienced psychological burnout. Based on the interview data, a total of 81 major concepts, 21 subcategories, 7 intermediate categories, and 3 upper categories were identified for the psychological burnout and recovery of MJHers, and a theoretical model reflecting the burnout and recovery process of MJHers was derived. It was found that MJHers feel recovery by resetting their relationships with various areas of their lives (each job, family, etc.). This study is significant in that it conducts a phenomenological study on the psychological burnout and recovery process experienced by MJHers based on grounded theory, and suggests activities and programs to help them recover based on the results of this study.
