Abstract
본 연구는 장애 고등학생의 진로 성숙도를 위해 이미지 생성형 AI 활용 웹툰 교육의 효과성을 검증한 것이다. 경기도 소재 일반계 고등학교 특수학급 2학년남학생 3명(지적장애 2명, 지체 장애 1명)을 대상으로AI 이미지 생성 도구(투닝매직⋅투닝에디터)를 이용한웹툰 제작 활동을 총 4차시 동안 진행하였다. 직업 정보 탐색 및 시각적 표현 과정을 2015 개정 특수교육교육과정 중 ‘선택 중심 교육과정 전문교과(직업준비)’ 의 내용 체계 범주에 따라 평가한 결과, 진로 결정 자기효능감, 탐색 행동, 협업 태도가 강화되었다. 또한, 참여 학생들은 AI 기반 창작 활동에 높은 흥미와 만족감을 보였다. 즉, 이미지 생성형 AI 활용 웹툰 교육은장애 고등학생의 진로성숙도 제고에 의미 있는 영향을미친 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 기존의 이론 중심진로교육이나 제한된 실습 기회를 넘어, AI 에듀테크기반의 맞춤형 창의 활동이 장애 고등학생의 실질적인진로⋅직업 경험을 확대하는 새로운 특수교육 모델을제시하였다는 점에서 의의를 갖는다.
This study verified the effectiveness of webtoon education utilizing image-generating AI for enhancing career maturity among high school students with disabilities. Three second-year male students (two with intellectual disabilities, one with physical disabilities) in a special education class at a general high school in Gyeonggi Province participated in webtoon creation activities using AI image generation tools (Tuning Magic and Tuning Editor) over four sessions. The evaluation, conducted according to the content framework categories of the ‘Choice-Centered Curriculum Special Subject (Vocational Preparation)’ from the 2015 Revised Special Education Curriculum, assessed the processes of career information exploration and visual expression. The results showed enhanced career decision self-efficacy, exploration behavior, and collaborative attitudes. Furthermore, participating students demonstrated high interest and satisfaction in AI-based creative activities. Thus, webtoon education utilizing image-generating AI was found to have a meaningful impact on enhancing career maturity among high school students with disabilities. This study holds significance in presenting a new special education model that expands practical career and vocational experiences for high school students with disabilities through AI edutech-based customized creative activities, moving beyond existing theory-centered career education or limited practical opportunities.
