Abstract
본 연구는 다문화가정 여성의 취업욕구가 취업준비행동에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 이 과정에서 취업지원정책 지지가 매개 역할을 하는지를 검증하는 데 목적이 있다. 이 를 위해 전국의 지방 거주 다문화가정 여성을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 구 조모형 방정식 모델을 활용하여 연구 가설을 검증하였다. 분석 결과, 취업욕구가 높을 수록 취업준비행동이 증가하는 것으로 나타났으며, 취업지원정책 지지는 취업욕구와 취업준비행동 간의 관계에서 유의미한 매개 역할을 수행하는 것으로 확인되었다. 특 히, 수도권과 지방 간 비교 분석을 통해 지방에서는 취업지원정책 지지가 취업준비행 동으로 연결되는 효과가 상대적으로 낮음을 확인하였다. 이는 지방 거주 다문화가정 여성들이 취업을 희망하더라도 실질적인 취업활동으로 이어지는 데 있어 제도적 지원 의 한계가 존재함을 시사한다. 본 연구는 이러한 결과를 바탕으로, 다문화가정 여성의 취업 활성화를 위한 맞춤형 정책 개발, 지역 간 격차를 고려한 지원 전략 마련, 취업지 원정책에 대한 신뢰도를 높이기 위한 홍보 및 접근성 강화 방안 등을 제안하였다. 이를 통해 다문화가정 여성의 노동시장 참여를 촉진하고 경제적 자립을 지원하는 실질적인 정책적 함의를 제공하고자 한다.
This study aims to analyze the effect of employment desire on job preparation behavior among multicultural family women residing in non-metropolitan areas, and to examine whether support for employment policies plays a mediating role in this process. To achieve this purpose, a survey was conducted with multicultural family women living in regional areas across the country, and the research hypotheses were tested using a structural equation modeling (SEM) approach. The analysis revealed that a higher level of employment desire led to an increase in job preparation behavior, and that support for employment policies served as a significant mediator in the relationship between employment desire and job preparation behavior. In particular, a comparative analysis between metropolitan and non-metropolitan areas demonstrated that the effect of employment policy support on job preparation behavior was relatively weaker in regional areas. This finding suggests that, although multicultural family women residing outside metropolitan areas aspire to work, institutional limitations hinder the transition from employment desire to actual job-seeking activities. Based on these results, this study proposes the development of tailored policies to promote employment among multicultural family women, the establishment of support strategies that take regional disparities into account, and measures to enhance trust in and accessibility to employment support policies through active promotion. By doing so, the study seeks to provide practical policy implications that encourage the labor market participation of multicultural family women and support their economic independence.
