- Abstract
- This paper provides a review of the various reliability models of battery energy storage system and its reliability assessment techniques. The probabilistic reliability assessment of the BESS is performed using the suitable reliability model among those models and the demand power forecast model is proposed to obtain the optimal scheduling of energy storage systems and the feasibility of the proposed optimal scheduling strategy is verified by the numerical simulation.
