공동체의 지속가능성을 위한 학습문화 탐구: H대학 스쿠버 동아리를 중심으로

Abstract

연구목적: 공동체를 지속하게 하는 학습문화의 형성 과정과 특성을 H대학의 스쿠버 동아리를 통해 탐구하는 것이다. 연구방법: 연구자는 자문화기술지로 실천공동체(Community of Practice) 관점으로 공동체 내 경험 속에서 삶의 변화를 겪은 과정에 대해 참여 관찰과 면담을 포함한 자료를 신입생, 운영단, 재학생, 졸업생 시점으로 구분하여 분석하였다. 연구결과: 해당 동아리의 학습문화는 위계적 구조 속에서도 상호호혜적 관계를 형성하고 재현과 적응의 균형 속에서 지속되어왔다. 이 과정에서 드러나는 학습문화는 개인의 성장뿐 아니라 공동체의 정체성을 확립해나가며 지속가능성을 강화하는 핵심 요인으로 작동함을 확인하였다. 논의 및 결론: 공동체 내에서 구성원들이 학습하는 과정에서 개인 간, 세대 간 간극을 줄이기 위해 논의의 장을 마련하고 협력할 수 있는 체계를 구축할 필요가 있다.

Purpose: This study explores the process and characteristics of forming a learning culture that sustains a community through the scuba diving club at H University. Method: The researcher analyzed data, including participant observations and interviews, through an autoethnographic approach from the perspective of the Community of Practice(CoP), categorizing the experiences and processes of life changes within the community from the viewpoints of freshmen, executive members, current students, and alumni. Results: The learning culture of the club has been sustained by fostering reciprocal relationships within a hierarchical structure and maintaining a balance between reproduction and adaptation. This learning culture revealed in this process functions as a key factor not only in promoting individual growth but also in shaping the community’s identity and strengthening its sustainability. Conclusion: It is necessary to establish a forum for dialogue to reduce gaps between individuals and across generations.
