구성주의 진로이론 기반 진로교과목 운영 사례 연구

Abstract

연구목적: 불확실성이 큰 현대 진로 환경에서 진로를 능동적으로 재해석할 필요성에 주목하여, 대학생 대상 구성주의 진로이론(Career Construction Theory) 기반 교과목을 설계하고 운영결과를 분석하였다. 연구방법: 진로교과목을 수강한 학생들을 대상으로 사전과 사후 설문을 실시하고, 점수변화가 큰 학생들을 중심으로 반구조화 면담을 실시하였다. 양적자료는 대응표본 t검증, 질적 자료는 주제분석을 적용하였다. 연구결과: 양적 분석 결과 자아정체감, 진로적응성, 진로낙관성이 유의하게 증가하고, 불확실성과 책임에 대한 진로 불안이 유의하게 감소하였다. 반면, 과정에 대한 불안은 유의한 변화가 없었다. 질적 분석에서는 “나에 대한 이해와 표현”, “타인과의 상호작용을 통한 정서적 교류와 성찰”이라는 두 가지 핵심 주제가 도출되었다. 논의 및 결론: 본 진로교과목은 학생이 자신의 경험을 재해석하고 진로내러티브를 주체적으로 구성하도록 돕는 모형으로 기능하였다. 의미구성과 상호작용 기반의 활동이 학생들의 자아정체감과 적응성 및 낙관성 향상에 효과적이었으며, 여기서 진로를 탐색하고 준비하며 겪는 불안은 자연스러운 현상으로 해석된다.

Purpose: This study designed and evaluated a university career course grounded in Career Construction Theory to address students’ need to actively reinterpret their careers in contexts of increasing uncertainty. Method: Pre–post surveys and semi-structured interviews were conducted with enrolled students. Quantitative data were analyzed using paired-sample t-tests, and qualitative data were analyzed using thematic analysis. Results: Ego identity, career adaptability, and career optimism increased significantly, whereas anxiety related to uncertainty and responsibility decreased; process-related anxiety showed no significant change. Qualitative analysis yielded two themes: deepened self-understanding and emotional exchange and reflection through interactions with others. Conclusion: The course functioned as a model that supports students in reconstructing their career narratives and promotes adaptive career development; career-related anxiety during the exploration process appears to be a natural developmental response.
