초심상담사의 불안정 성인애착이 소진에 미치는 영향: 수퍼비전 관계로 조절된 정신화의 매개효과

Abstract

본 연구는 초심상담사의 불안정 성인애착과 소진의 관계에서 수퍼비전 관계로 조절된 정신화의 매개효과를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구를 위해 초심상담자 332명을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 불안정 성인애착과 소진, 정신화, 수퍼비전 관계 모두 상호 간의 유의한 상관이 나타났다. 둘째, 불안정 성인애착과 소진 간의 관계를 정신화가 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 불안정 성인애착과 정신화의 관계를 수퍼비전 관계가 조절하는 것으로 확인되었다. 넷째, 불안정 성인애착과 소진의 관계에서 나타난 정신화의 매개효과가 수퍼비전 관계에 따라 달라지는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 상담자의 불안정 애착과 소진의 관계에 관여하는 심리적 기제를 정교하게 설명하고 소진 예방에 있어 수퍼비전 관계의 중요성을 보여주었다. 선행연구에 비추어 본 연구의 의의와 시사점을 논하였고, 본 연구의 한계점을 바탕으로 후속 연구의 방향을 제안하였다.

This study aimed to examine the mediating effect of mentalization on the relationship between insecure adult attachment and burnout among novice counselors, as well as the moderating role of the supervisory relationship in this process. A total of 332 novice counselors participated in an online survey. The results showed that, first, insecure adult attachment, burnout, mentalization, and supervisory relationship were all significantly correlated. Second, mentalization mediated the relationship between insecure adult attachment and burnout. Third, supervisory relationship moderated the relationship between insecure adult attachment and mentalization. Fourth, the mediating effect of mentalization in the relationship between insecure adult attachment and burnout varied according to the level of supervisory relationship. These findings provide a more refined understanding of the psychological mechanisms linking counselors’ insecure attachment and burnout, highlighting the critical role of the supervisory relationship in preventing burnout. By reviewing precedence researches, the significance and implications of this study were discussed and the directions for future studies was suggested based on the limitations of this study.
