Abstract
We have synthesized a novel isoindigo-based electron donor polymer (PDBTPI) for organic photovoltaics. The alternating polymer comprising isoindigo and di(1-benzothieno)[3,2-b:2',3'-d] pyrrole (DBTP) moieties provides the highest power conversion efficiency of over 7% among DBTP-based polymers and a promising efficiency among isoindigo-based polymers.
