dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study is to define electric range of PHEV. Analysis was performed using the two different modes (UDDS and HWFET). Experiment was used the Toyota Prius PHEV and GM VOLT PHEV performed at chassis dynamometer and exhaust emission analysis system. Electric range of Toyota Prius PHEV is 18km and GM VOLT PHEV is 54km. Toyota Prius PHEV have a low battery about 3.6times compared with the GM VOLT PHEV. Reasons for these results, electric range of Toyota Prius PHEV has decrease about three times than electric range of GM VOLT PHEV.-
