진로준비행동, 직업선택과정에서의 계획된 우연기술의 역할, 진로적응성에 대한 탐색적 연구-여행사 종사원들에 대한 심층면접방법을 중심으로-

Abstract

본 연구는 여행사 종사원을 대상으로 진로준비행동, 직업선택과정에서 계획된 우연기술의 역할, 진로적응성을 탐색하는 연구이다. 정보수집행동 측면에서는 개인들이 자신의 인생에서 진로결정에 대한 중요성을 인식하고 다양한 채널을 활용하고 있다는 점을 확인하였다. 계획된 우연기술은 여행사 종사원의 직업선택과정에서 긍정적 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 계획된 우연기술의 호기심이 ‘직무에 대한 호기심’, ‘여행상품개발 호기심’, ‘이국적 문화체험을 할 수 있다는 호기심’, ‘국외여행인솔 직무에 대한 호기심’ 등으로 나타났다는 점은 여행사 직무를 희망하는 개인에게는 이러한 호기심 증진이 진로결정 뿐 만 아니라 진로개발을 증진하는데 도움을 줄 수 있다는 시사점을 제공한다. 진로적응성 요인들은 ‘관광정보 제공 책임감’, ‘관광정보 및 경험 축척 직무능력’ 등으로 진로적응성 요인마다 ‘관광정보, 관광경험 요인’이 대부분 매칭 되어 진로적응성 요인을 강조하고 있다. 이것은 타 분야와의 차이점이며, ‘여행사 직무특성과 관광정보 및 경험’이 직무적응에 있어서 중요하게 작용하고 있음을 의미한다.

This study investigated the travel agents' career preparation behavior, the role of planned happenstance skill in choosing a career, and the adaptability of a career. From the perspective of information gathering behavior, it was confirmed that individuals understand the importance of career decisions in their lives and use diverse channels. Curiosity over the planned heppenence skill played a positive role in helping candidates' job selection and career development. More specifically, travel product development curiosity, curiosity about experiencing exotic cultures and being guided by overseas travel played key roles during the process.. For those who want to work as travel agents, such curiosity can help improve not only career decisions, but also career ones. The career adaptability factors are responsibility for providing tourism information, responsibility for providing tourism information, and ability to scale experiences. Career adaptability factors are matched with Tourism Information and Tourism Experience Factors, highlighting career adaptability. This is different from other fields in the job adjustment of travel agents, and indicates that Travel agency job characteristics, tourism information and experience is important for job adjustment.
