Abstract
In this paper, we present the sufficient breathing rate extraction method within real life environment using 24GHz continuous wave (CW) Doppler radar sensor. In order to extract respiration rate (RR) within real life environments, signal processing techniques such as Savizky-Golay (SG) filter and newly developed movemnet detection algorithm (MDA) are proposed. The result of this method is compared to the reference device to determine its performance.
