dc.description.abstractFor ISG (integrated starter-generator), high power and efficiency characteristics are required. Conventionally, it is known that PMSM (permanent magnet synchronous motor) is appropriate for ISG, due to its high performance. However, unstable supply of the rare earth magnet becomes issue these days. Among many types that can be substitute for PMSM, WFSM (wound field synchronous motor) has received attention. In this paper, design of WFSM to achieve high power is presented. By increasing axial length and changing number of coils, power improved in the same electric power specification.-
