- Abstract
- A low-cost miniaturized magnetic field probe for magnetic near-field measurements is proposed. To improve the low-frequency sensitivity of conventional magnetic probes, easily attachable ferrite sheets with the optimized dimension of 5 mm × 2 mm × 0.75 mm are utilized in the proposed probe design. The calculated S21 of the proposed design with ferrite sheet is improved by about 3 dB over the frequency band ranging from 1 MHz to 1 GHz, comparing to that without ferrite sheet.
