Abstract
A 60-GHz array antenna for mm-wave 5G wearable applications is proposed. The antenna is composed of a patch antenna array with feed lines, parasitic elements, and a ground. The antenna has a fan-beam radiation pattern and simulated 3-dB and 10-dB beamwidths are 38.9° and 142.9°, respectively. To demonstrate the antenna performance in the practical wearable environment, the antenna characteristics were simulated on the 60 GHz head phantom.
