| dc.description.abstract | An ionization chamber is still widely used not only because of its stability for a long period but also its capability for various design of its configuraton. Two different sizes of ionization chamber , which will be used in the HANARO nuclear reactor in KAERI and other nuclear and other nuclear power plant in korea. One is an 11L large air-filled ionization chamber and the other is a 1L small ionization chamber filled with reseach grade Ar to increase its sensitivity at low dose rate. Preliminary test of the ionization chambers such as the leakage current, saturation currents, and aging were performed by using an Am-241 gammma source. | - |
