Abstract

Marchiafava-Bignami disease (MBD) is a rare complication of chronic alcoholism and usually fatal, but the pathophysiology is still unknown. With the advent of MRI, MBD cases of good recovery with reversible lesions have been reported. We serially evaluated a case of acutely developed MBD who eventually recovered with MRI MR spectroscopy (MRS).
