dc.description.abstract | This paper deals with an analysis of the design parameters and its influence on performance of the linear induction motor (LIM). LIM model for maglev conveying system designed considering equivalent circuit and design limitation. To effectively investigate the effects of design variables on performances such as thrust force, thrust ripple, efficiency and power factor, response surface method (RSM) is applied. By using central composite design, design points that can efficiently estimate the effects of the design variables considering nonlinearity are obtained. The optimal model that has improved performance was derived by RSM and the model was verified by the finite elements method (FEM). | - |
