dc.description.abstractThe interest in intelligent automotive R&D is increasing worldwide. The ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistant System) vehicle must cope with the emergent situation and so the need for an ADAS test evaluation environment is increasing. However, the ADAS test based on the actual vehicle results in risk increasing and loss of cost. Therefore, VIL (Vehicle In the Loop) using virtual environment is used for ADAS functional verification. In this paper, the radar sensor emulation module has been developed for VIL-testing which can verify performance of the radar by using virtual radar sensor. It recognizes the vehicle data coming within the measurement range of the radar sensor and can detect the vehicles that are partially hidden by other vehicles. By using the sensor emulator, it is possible to test ADAS vehicles more safely than the actual vehicle experiments.-
