- Abstract
- The purpose of this study was to compare self-efficacy, depression, anxiety, and stress between Taekwondo major students and students who as majoring physical education in college. A total of 80 data were collected from 49 Taekwondo major students and 31 physical education majoring students. The collected data were analyzed by using SPSS windows Ver.20. descriptive statistics and confirmatory factor analysis were performed. Independent t-test was conducted to comparison each factors between the groups. The significance level was set at p<.05. The results of this study are as follows; First, there was no differences in self-efficacy between Taekwondo major group and physical education major group. Second, there was significantly difference in depression score of the following two groups. Third, there was significantly difference in anxiety score of the two groups. We insist that this study is a meaningful as the first study to comparing mental health between Taekwondo major and physical education majoring students.
