- Abstract
- We prove the generalized Hyers-Ulam stability of a functional equation \begin{align*} f(ax&+by) + ab f(x-y) - \frac{a(2b+a+1)}{2} f(x) - \frac{b(b+1)}{2} f(y) \\ & -\frac{a(a-1)}{2} f(-x) - \frac{b(2a+b-1)}{2} f(-y) = 0 \end{align*} whose solutions are quadratic-additive mappings.
